In 2005, The Village Idiots took their first show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. A feisty adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s delightfully bawdy tale, Madame Tellier's Establishment was a half-masked production in which only 'french gibberish' was spoken.
"Amorous adventures ensue as a glamorous Madame takes her saucy city girls on an excursion to a sleepy French village. This energetic romp has international appeal." Press Release 2005
